Family Ministries at Living Christ Church

“Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.” –Matthew 19:14

We seek to foster within each child the desire to discover God in a personal way, leaving an eternal imprint of God’s love on his/her life beginning with infancy and continuing through 5th grade. We seek to partner with families to help children meet and love Jesus: to discover the blessing of His word, the Bible; to learn to live like Him; and to share Him with others.

An open nursery is available in Room 2 where infants and their parents are invited to come in and make themselves at home during the Worship Service. Provisions are available for nursing mothers in the privacy of our on-site sleeping room.

Nurturing for Children ages 2 – 3 is available during the Sunday Worship Service  10:30 a.m. in Room 4.

Children’s Church for Age 4 – 5th grade. Join the worship service at 10:45 with your families for the beginning of the service, then join us downstairs in Room 3 for crafts and an age appropriate lesson while the sermon is going on upstairs.

At Living Christ Church, we believe that the body of Christ is inclusive of all God’s people. We strive at every opportunity to accommodate and incorporate the youngest members of Christ’s family into corporate worship. you will often see groups of kids with their families dancing in the front left corner of the sanctuary during the beginning of the worship service.

Special one-time events happen throughout the year. They include our yearly Easter Egg Hunt and Trunk-or-Treat as well as family game nights and movie nights. Make sure you are on our Children’s Ministries contact list for special announcements and select mailings. (email Heather Shields at
