Dona grew up in Minnesota where she became a Christian as a young adult and met her husband Ben while he attended Seminary. Dona and Ben moved to Ecuador in 1981 and served with the Christian and Missionary Alliance at the Alliance Academy in Quito for 14 years. Their 3 daughters were born in Ecuador. In 1995 the family moved to Nyack and both Ben and Dona worked at Nyack College until Dona resigned from her administrative position in the Treasurer’s Office in 2016. Dona has a Master’s degree in Organizational Leadership and completed the Doctor of Ministry from Alliance Theological Seminary in May 2017. Dona has ministered in and directed the healing prayer/deliverance ministries at Living Christ for over 10 years. She is currently developing and piloting a unique discipleship/healing small group model of ministry that emerged from the results of her dissertation research. Dona also has a personal ministry of providing life coaching with soul care to private clients. Her overall passion is to be involved in life change ministries through coaching, leadership development, healing prayer, spiritual formation, and soul care.
